Congratulations! ARP Technologies Selected for the MIIT National Energy-Saving and Carbon-Reduction Technology Recommendation Catalogue

To accelerate the promotion of advanced energy-saving and carbon-reduction technologies and to strengthen technological upgrading across key industrial sectors, the Department of Energy Conservation and Comprehensive Utilization of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People’s Republic of China (MIIT) released the National Industrial and Information Technology Sector Energy-Saving and Carbon-Reduction Technology Application Guidelines and Case Studies (2025 Edition).

The electromagnetic induction–based full nitrogen circulation heating tire curing technology developed by ARP Technologies has been successfully selected for inclusion in this national recommendation catalogue.

This technology applies electromagnetic induction heating to the heating vessel. Nitrogen gas flows through the vessel and is heated via heat exchange to the preset temperature. The high-temperature nitrogen then enters the bladder cavity as a heat transfer medium, providing an internal heat source for tire curing.

Compared with conventional curing methods, this solution operates without steam, eliminating condensate interference and avoiding risks such as heat loss from steam pipelines and steam leakage. As a result, the energy-saving rate can reach up to 60% per ton of rubber cured.

Energy-Saving and Carbon-Reduction Performance: Taking a semi-steel dual-mode curing press as an example, after the retrofit, the system can save 82 tons of standard coal per year and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by approximately 210 tons annually.

Being selected for this national-level recommendation catalogue not only represents authoritative recognition of ARP Technologies’ technological innovation capabilities and proven energy-saving and carbon-reduction performance, but also highlights the technology’s strong demonstration value in supporting the green transformation of the tire manufacturing industry.

Looking ahead, ARP Technologies will continue to advance electric heating technologies and promote large-scale application of this solution, helping tire manufacturers reduce energy consumption and carbon emissions, contributing to China’s “dual carbon” goals, and empowering the rubber tire industry with high-quality, sustainable development.
